Job summary

National Vehicle Distribution in Southampton is seeking a Vehicle Handler to ensure efficient and accurate handling of stock. You will thoroughly check and dispatch vehicles, and move 60+ vehicles daily across storage and loading areas.

The role includes vehicle-specific inspections, stock checks, and contributing to the general upkeep of the compounds. We offer £14 per hour, a pension scheme, death in service benefit, digital GP, employee assistance, and other staff perks.

Qualifications

• Available for up to 6 days a week and able to work evening shifts.
• Full driving license held.
• Positive working attitude.

Role Summary

The Vehicle Handler is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of vehicle stock. Key duties include the thorough checking and dispatch of vehicles, managing the high-volume movement of 60 or more vehicles daily across storage and loading areas, and performing detailed vehicle-specific inspections and stock checks. The role also involves contributing to the general maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle compounds.
