Envisage Recruitment Limited is seeking a practical Vehicle Fitter in Banbury. You will join a busy workshop, building high-quality campervans from start to finish, including interior fitting, basic electrics and plumbing installations.

The role offers hands-on training and progression within a small team. The ideal candidate has practical hands-on experience in a trade or workshop, with a right attitude and willingness to learn campervan conversion techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist with 12V electrical systems (leisure batteries, lighting, wiring, split charge systems).
• Install basic plumbing systems (water tanks, pumps, sinks, taps, waste systems).
• Insulate and line van interiors.
• Work from build plans and instructions.
• Ensure high-quality, safe and professional finishes.
• Work as part of a small workshop team.

Vehicle Fitter - Full Training Provided

Location: Banbury

Salary: £28,000 rising to £30,600 after successful probation & skills test

Perm: Monday to Friday -8am - 5pm

We are looking for a practical and motivated Vehicle Converter / Vehicle Fitter to join our growing workshop team in Banbury. You will be involved in building high-quality campervans from start to finish, including interior fitting, basic electrics, and plumbing installations.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with existing practical or trade skills, who is looking to learn full campervan conversion techniques. Full training will be provided, but some experience working with tools or in a trade environment is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with 12V electrical systems (leisure batteries, lighting, wiring, split charge systems)
• Installing basic plumbing systems (water tanks, pumps, sinks, taps, waste systems)
• Insulating and lining van interiors
• Working from build plans and instructions
• Ensuring high-quality, safe and professional finishes
• Working as part of a small workshop team

What We're Looking For

Practical hands-on experience in a trade or workshop environment, such as:
