Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our expanding aftersales team in the UK. You will identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults, using advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer data to ensure high-quality repairs.

With a commitment to training and progression, you can grow your career within a supportive, team-driven environment. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:30, in a busy dealership workshop.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of practical workshop experience.
  • Full UK driving license (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults on customer vehicles.
  • Work with advanced diagnostic equipment and technical data.
  • Ensure accurate assessments and quality repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Support workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction, while developing technical capability of the team.

Are you an experienced and qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician looking to join a supportive team, progress your career and work with an established brand? At Pentagon Motor Group, we're on the lookout for skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technicians like you to join our expanding aftersales team. Whether you're already working with at a franchised dealership or an independent garage, if you've got the drive to deliver outstanding service and top-quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Identifying and resolving complex mechanical and electrical faults on customer vehicles.
  • Working with advanced diagnostic equipment and technical data
  • Ensure accurate assessments and quality repairs are carried out in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Support both workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction, while helping to develop the technical capability of the wider team. Qualified to level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of practical experience working in a workshop environment
  • Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy team
  • Full UK driving license (max 6 points)
