Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group in Nottingham is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to service, repair and diagnose faults to manufacturer standards within a busy aftersales team.

You’ll carry out visual health checks, ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy, and enjoy a structured development path, generous holiday entitlement and a range of staff benefits. Hours are Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00 (42.5 hours per week).

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• MOT License would be preferable but not essential.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnosing faults to manufacturer standards.
• Carrying out visual health checks.
• Ensures vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations.

Are you an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician, who can carry out general servicing and maintenance on vehicles with basic diagnostic skills who is looking to join a supportive team, progress your career and work with an established brand? At Pentagon Motor Group, we’re on the lookout for experienced Vehicle Technicians like you to join our expanding aftersales team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnosing faults efficiently and accurately to manufacturer standards
• Carrying out visual health checks
• Ensures vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations, supporting the Pentagon Group's reputation for excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified to level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent
• MOT License would be preferable but not essential
• At least 3 years of practical experience working in a workshop environment
• Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy team
• Full UK driving license (max 6 points)
