Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join the Sheffield aftersales team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will identify and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostics, ensuring repairs align with manufacturer standards and contribute to customer satisfaction.

The role requires Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent and at least 3 years in a workshop, with a UK driving license.

  • Qualified to Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of practical workshop experience.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults on customer vehicles.
  • Work with advanced diagnostic equipment and technical data.
  • Ensure accurate assessments and quality repairs to manufacturer standards.
  • Support workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction while helping develop the team’s technical capability.

Are you an experienced and qualified Diagnostic Vehicle Technician looking to join a supportive team, progress your career and work with an established brand? What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Identifying and resolving complex mechanical and electrical faults on customer vehicles.
  • Working with advanced diagnostic equipment and technical data
  • Ensure accurate assessments and quality repairs are carried out in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Support both workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction, while helping to develop the technical capability of the wider team.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified to level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of practical experience working in a workshop environment
  • Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy team
  • Full UK driving license (max 6 points)
