Clear Automotive Recruitment Solutions Limited is hiring a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) for our Croydon facility. The role involves delivering precise damage assessments, creating repair estimates, and ensuring safe, quality restoration of vehicles.

Suitable candidates will have proven VDA/Estimator experience, Audatex expertise, and strong communication and organisation skills to thrive in a busy accident repair environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator.
• Audatex experience is essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy, professional accident repair environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of damage, repair costs, and timescales
• Identify the correct prescribed repair method and ensure accurate documentation
• Prepare computerised and manual estimates, keeping up-to-date records of all work
• Liaise with insurance companies to gain repair authorisations and confirm repair costs
• Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure correct repair methodology is followed
• Ensure all amendments to repairs are authorised by insurers
• Work closely with bodyshop staff to ensure prescribed repair methods are carried out correctly

Up to £55,000 OTE £65,000 (Car allowance if required due to further travel)

Permanent position, Monday to Friday

Realistic and Achievable monthly bonus

30 days annual leave (inc bank holidays) academy, IMI and ATA training
