Clear Automotive Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join a well-established site in the Cambridgeshire area. The role involves inspecting damaged vehicles, calculating repair costs, and liaising with insurers for authorisations.

The successful candidate will have Audatex experience and a proven track record in a busy accident repair environment, with strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator.
• Audatex experience is essential.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy, professional accident repair environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of damage, repair costs, and timescales.
• Identify the correct prescribed repair method and ensure accurate documentation.
• Carry out remote estimates in addition.
• Prepare computerised and manual estimates, keeping up-to-date records of all work.
• Liaise with insurance companies to gain repair authorisations and confirm repair costs.
• Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure correct repair methodology is followed.
• Ensure all amendments to repairs are authorised by insurers.
• Work closely with bodyshop staff to ensure prescribed repair methods are carried out correctly.

Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA

Location: St Neots

Pay: Up to £50,000 OTE (£59,000) with up to £800 monthly bonus. Immediate start available.

Permanent position, Monday to Friday.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced VDA to join a well-established site in the Cambridgeshire area. This site is the latest addition to a growing repair group with multiple successful locations across the UK and a strong reputation for quality repairs and staff care.
