Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join a well-established accident repair centre. The role is workshop-based, with hands-on estimating responsibilities and no remote work.

You will inspect damaged vehicles, produce detailed estimates, and collaborate with technicians to ensure repair methods are clear. A stable, long-term position with opportunities for upsell bonuses and staff discounts is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator.
• Strong practical skills with a hands-on approach to estimating damage and repair costs.
• Audatex experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of damaged vehicles within the workshop.
• Accurately assess vehicle damage, estimate repair methods, costs, and timescales.
• Produce detailed estimates using Audatex (training provided if necessary).
• Identify and maximise upsell opportunities in line with repair requirements.
• Liaise effectively with technicians to ensure repair methods are clear and feasible.
