Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Bodyshop Estimator or similar roles.
• ATA/IMI accreditation in Vehicle Damage Assessment is preferred.
• Proficiency with estimating systems such as Audatex or GT Global.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate estimates.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess repair requirements.
• Produce accurate and detailed repair estimates.
• Identify parts, labour, and repair procedures.

THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you'll be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage and producing detailed estimates to support an efficient and high-quality repair process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting damaged vehicles and accurately assessing the extent of repair required.
• Producing accurate and detailed repair estimates.
• Identifying required parts, labour and repair procedures.
• Using industry-standard estimating systems to calculate repair costs and repair times.
• Liaising with technicians to ensure repair requirements for clearly understood.
• Reviewing repairs and updating estimates where additional damage is identified.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring estimates meet required standards.
• Working closely with the wider Bodyshop team to support an efficient repair process.

ABOUT YOU

This opportunity would suit an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Bodyshop Estimator with strong estimating knowledge, excellent attention to detail and a thorough understanding of vehicle repair processes.

You’ll ideally have:

• ATA / IMI accreditation in Vehicle Damage Assessment.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, VDA, Bodyshop Estimator or Vehicle Estimator.
• Proficiency with estimating systems such as Audatex / GT Global.
• Strong IT and system skills.
• Good knowledge of vehicle repair methods, parts and labour requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technicians and colleagues.
• A professional, organised and methodical approach.
• A full UK driving licence.
