Job summary

Holt Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor for a leading Accrington-based employer. You will inspect accident damaged vehicles, assess repair costs and timeframes, and ensure pricing and repair methodologies are followed according to contract guidelines.

The role requires ATA qualification or proven experience, and experience using estimating software (Audatex). You will collaborate with insurers and customers to provide timely updates, in a busy workshop environment, as

• Experience using estimating software (Audatex).
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Inspect accident damaged vehicles and assess damage, costs and repair times.
• Ensure pricing schedules and repair methodologies are followed per contract.
• Work within guidelines to meet workflow targets.
• Use computerised estimating systems.
• Liaise with insurers and accident management companies on updates.
• Provide customers with timely updates on the progress.

The Role Vehicle Damage Assessor

• You will undertake the inspection of accident damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair and time frames.
• You will ensure our work providers menu pricing schedules and repair methodologies and key information for each contract is being adhered to on each job.
• You will work within our guidelines to ensure that the workflow volume meets targets.
• Use computerised estimating systems.
• Liaise regularly with insurance and accident management companies with any updates or queries relating to relevant jobs.
• Contact customers to provide updates

About You

• ATA qualified Vehicle Damage Assessor (preferred) OR a strong background with proven experience in the role
• Must have experience using estimating software (ideally Audatex)
• Ability to work efficiently and to a high standard in a busy workshop environment
• A great team player with a positive attitude
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
