Job summary

Pertemps North West and North Wales is recruiting for a Vehicle Re-Fit Operative in Warrington. The role involves hands-on conversion and modification of small commercial vehicles in a busy workshop, with emphasis on quality and precision.

You will install racking and lighting, use hand and power tools, and complete paperwork. A full UK driving licence is required, with training provided and a potential path to permanent employment. 40 hours per week, shift pattern Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving licence.
• Vehicle re-fit experience is desirable but not essential.
• Hands‑on workshop role requiring quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the conversion of small commercial vehicles.
• Install racking and lighting systems.
• Use hand and power tools (drills, screwdrivers, spanners, etc.).
• Complete relevant paperwork and maintain accurate job records.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship at all times.
• Initial training and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop within the role.
