Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a Vehicle Line Manager to lead the Chassis systems for full vehicle programmes, ensuring delivery of content on time, within budget and to rigorous quality standards.

You will oversee suspension, wheels, brakes, steering, active aero and related software, coordinating with Chassis Managers and cross-functional teams to align with the CVT HLP and development plan.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (2:1 or above).
• Significant experience in automotive programmes, project management and system delivery (Chassis preferred).
• Experience on both high volume and niche programs in OEM or Tier 1.
• Knowledge of DFMEA and its automotive application.
• Proven leadership and delivery within APQP or similar.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver Chassis targets and deliverables with clear governance across vehicle programmes.
• Generate and support key technology decisions with business cases and lifecycle approach.
• Create and maintain a Chassis High Level Plan and ensure alignment with development plans.
• Deliver projects on time, on budget and to quality/robustness targets.
• Be the primary contact for the Programme and align goals across Chassis function.
