Job summary

KPI People Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for their Cheltenham workshop. The role involves servicing and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards, with opportunities in diagnostics, warranty work, and MOT testing where qualified.

Salary ranges from £35,000 to £50,000 DOE, with an OTE of £60,000; Monday to Friday shifts and a generous benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements: Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance; 2 years post-apprenticeship experience; full and clean UK driving licence.
• Desirable: Class 4 MOT licence, manufacturer accreditations, and MOT licence (Class 4 & 7).

Responsibilities

• Ensure servicing and repairs are carried out to manufacturer standards.
• Cambelt, clutch, gearbox and engine repairs/replacements.
• Electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
• Mechanic warranty repairs.
• Carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards (if qualified).

Education

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance

2 years Post Apprenticeship Experience

Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Our client, a Busy Franchised Dealership in Cheltenham have the requirement for experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their established workshop team. Vehicle Technicians - Mechanics coming back to the motortrade are most welcome.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities
