Job summary

KPI People Ltd in Sunningdale is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team. Responsibilities include servicing and repairs to Manufacturer Standards, diagnostic work, and MOT testing (if qualified).

Essentially you will have Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance, 2 years post-apprenticeship experience, and a full UK driving licence. Desirable: MOT licences and manufacturer accreditations.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• 2 years post-apprenticeship experience.
• Full and clean UK driving licence.
• Desirable: Class 4 MOT Licence, Manufacturer accreditations, MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs to Manufacturer Standards.
• Cambelt, clutch, gearbox and engine repairs/replacements.
• Electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
• Warranty repairs.
• MOT testing (If qualified)

Our client, a Busy Franchised Dealership in Sunningdale have the requirement for experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their established workshop team. Vehicle Technicians - Mechanics coming back to the motortrade are most welcome.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician, responsibilities will include:

• Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
• Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
• Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
• Mechanic Warranty Repairs
• Carry out MOT Tester to DVSA standards (If qualified)

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
• 2 years Post Apprenticeship Experience
• Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

• Class 4 MOT Licence
• Manufacturer Accreditations
• MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)

Remuneration & Benefits

• Basic Salary of up to £32,000 - £40,000 DOE
• On Target Earnings of £50,000
