Job summary

Pro-Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced VAT Director with a Not-for-Profit specialism to join a Top 10 tax practice. You will advise charities and mission-led organisations on complex VAT issues, lead advisory projects, and shape a growing Not-for-Profit VAT offering.

You'll work with Partners and senior colleagues across the tax practice to deliver a joined-up service and progress toward Partner, while developing your market profile.

Qualifications

• Significant UK VAT experience within a professional services environment.
• Strong experience advising charities and/or Not-for-Profit organisations.
• Excellent understanding of complex VAT matters and cross-border considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver high-end VAT advisory projects for Not-for-Profit clients.
• Build and grow the Not-for-Profit VAT offering in collaboration with Partners.

VAT Director - Not-for-Profit

We're looking for an experienced VAT Director with a strong Not-for-Profit specialism to join a highly regarded Top 10 tax practice.

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in advising charities, not-for-profit organisations and other mission-led businesses on complex VAT matters, while playing a key part in developing the firm's specialist offering.

You'll work with a varied portfolio of organisations, providing high-level VAT advice across areas such as property, fundraising, trading activities, grants and international operations. You'll act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, delivering commercially focused solutions to complex and often unique VAT issues.

The opportunity

Alongside your technical expertise, you'll have the opportunity to build relationships, develop new business and shape the growth of the Not-for-Profit VAT offering.

You'll work closely with Partners and senior colleagues across the wider tax practice, leveraging the firm's broader capabilities to deliver a joined-up service to clients.

This role would suit a technically strong VAT professional who is ready to take a leading market-facing role, with the platform and support to develop their profile and progress towards Partner.

You'll ideally have:

• Significant UK VAT experience gained within a professional services environment
• Strong experience advising charities and/or Not-for-Profit organisations
• A strong technical understanding of complex VAT issues
• Excellent client relationship and business development skills
• The credibility to engage with senior stakeholders and lead complex advisory projects
• A genuine ambition to grow a specialist market offering and progress your career
