Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Trust Registrar to join the Frimley Vascular Unit at Frimley Park Hospital. The role focuses on open and endovascular care with training opportunities in peripheral interventions.

The post supports ST1/2 and FY1s, includes research time and simulator-based training in a hybrid theatre, with duties across outpatient, theatre, MDTs and clinical audits.

Qualifications

• MB BS or equivalent.
• MRCS or equivalent.
• Full GMC registration.

Responsibilities

• Assess, care and treat patients presenting to the specialty.
• Participate in 2 outpatient sessions per week.
• Participate in 1–2 vascular interventional radiology sessions per week.
• Attend weekly vascular MDT meetings.
• Develop and implement integrated surgical and emergency care pathways.
• Engage in audit and quality assurance processes.
