Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Vascular Surgery to join the team at Lister Hospital, Stevenage. The post involves a balance of outpatient, day case and inpatient operating duties and participation on a 1:7 on-call rota.

There are opportunities for involvement in clinics, ward rounds, MDT meetings and teaching. The successful candidate will be encouraged to participate in audits, presentations and teaching activities, with development

Qualifications

• Hold a current licence to practice from the General Medical Council.
• Evidence of achievement of ST2, CT2 competences in a relevant specialty by time of application and likelihood of achieving ST3/CT3 competences by the start date.
• Demonstrate understanding of audit, evidence based practice and clinical quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Balance of outpatient, day case and inpatient operating duties.
• Participate on a 1:7 on-call rota.
• Participate in the department's teaching, audit, and educational activities.
