Job summary

NHS England invites applications for the role of Deputy Training Programme Director - Vascular & Core Facilitator. The post is offered on a secondment basis to NHS England, with a 0.5 PA commitment (2 hours per week) and will be incorporated into the Consultant Job Plan.

The Deputy TD will support the Training Programme Director and Head of School to deliver education across Yorkshire and the Humber region, with multi-professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical education leadership within NHS or similar healthcare system.
• Ability to develop and implement training curricula across multi-professional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Training Programme Director and Head of School to deliver education across the region.
• Ensure high standards of learner supervision, assessment and experience.
• Engage with faculty, regulators and partner institutions to improve educational outcomes.
• Develop curriculum delivery innovations and workforce wellbeing strategies.
• Oversee recruitment, progression, and clinical governance within training posts.
