NHS England is seeking a Training Programme Director to lead the Core training programme for the South of the region, aligning with NHSE standards and the Postgraduate Dean’s direction.
The post holder will deliver educational leadership, manage resident progression, and assure quality. You will design rotations, plan expansion, and contribute to regional and national training initiatives.
The role of Training Programme Director is to work with and support the Postgraduate Dean in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions within their specialty, aligned to the NHS England mandate., The Core TPD for the South of the region, will provide educational leadership and management for Stage 1 residents, in accordance with NHSE standards and the requirements of the relevant curricula. The post holder will be responsible for the effective organisation, delivery and quality assurance of the Core training programme covering resident progression, educational governance and support for residents requiring additional input. The TPD will be designing rotations, plan expansion and contribute to regional and national training and educational activities as required.
