Job Title: Variable Hours Technician - School of Creative Industries, Kingston College

The School of Creative Industries at Kingston College is seeking a Variable Hours Technician to provide general technical support for effective curriculum delivery as part of the Media team. This role involves managing specialist media resources and collaborating with technicians, administrative staff, teachers, and students to ensure high-quality education.

Responsibilities include supporting media curriculum delivery, supervising and maintaining audio-visual equipment, classrooms, and TV studios, and facilitating safe access to college resources for students. The role is primarily based within the Media section but also involves wider obligations within the School as part of a larger curriculum support team.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualification in a relevant specialism, ideally Level 4 or above
• Good working knowledge of specialist media equipment and resources
• Understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations
• Experience with Microsoft applications and the Adobe suite

We seek an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Flexibility to work evenings and other hours with reasonable notice is essential.
