Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences, Oxford Transplant Centre, Churchill Hospital, Headington, Oxford.

Contract type: Fixed-term until 31 December 2025 in the first instance.

Hours: Variable Hours Contract.

About the role

We invite applications for the post of Transplant Technician to support the collection of data and samples for the Oxford Transplant Biobank (OTB) and Quality in Organ Donation (QUOD) national biobank, along with the various transplant research programmes they support. The role of Transplant Technician is vital to our success. The position offers a remuneration of £323.04 per annum, with an additional hourly rate for any transplant attended or time spent dealing with research sample offers and arranging transport. Additionally, you will receive certificates for all training provided and gain insights into a nationwide research project and experience in surgical procedures.
