Job summary

SIXT Newcastle Depot is seeking a Van & Truck Conversion Technician to install and modify vehicles to customer specifications. You will build shelving, install electrical fittings, and fit tow bars while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and install shelving, racking, and storage systems
• Remove and refit external and internal parts
• Fit auto-electrical equipment
• Fit and wire tow bars
• Carry out modifications to vans and trucks
• Maintain good housekeeping of the work area
• Make safe use of power tools and equipment where required
• Carry out other associated works as required
• Plylining all Commercial Vehicles
• Fit Security Locks
• Observe all relevant Health & Safety procedures
