Job summary

You'll conduct engine conversions and brake repairs, fabricate aluminium and steel components, install 12V electrical systems, and perform joinery work. A strong emphasis on safety, quality craftsmanship, and independent work is required.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years' trade experience in vehicle conversions or fabrication.
• Proficient with power tools; welding experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of 12V electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently.
• Versatile skill set with strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Experience with campervans or VW conversions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain campervans including mechanical, electrical, and interior fit-out tasks.
• Engine conversions, brake repairs, and general servicing.
• Fabricate aluminium and steel components for bespoke campervan builds.
• Install and maintain 12V electrical systems.
• Joinery and cabinetry work for custom interiors.
• Operate power tools and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all work adheres to high quality standards to produce durable conversions.
• Handle customer repair, upgrade, and maintenance work as required.

Duties

• Building and maintaining campervans, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and interior fit-out tasks


• Conducting engine conversions, brake system repairs, and general servicing


• Fabricating and welding aluminium and steel components for bespoke campervan builds


• Installing and maintaining 12V electrical systems, including wiring and electrical components


• joinery and cabinetry work for custom interiors


• Operating power tools and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently


• Ensuring all work adheres to high quality standards to produce durable conversions


• Handling customer repair, upgrade, and maintenance work as required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' relevant trade experience in vehicle conversions, mechanical repair, or fabrication


• Proficient in using power tools and fabrication equipment; welding experience is advantageous


• Knowledge of 12V electrical systems and vehicle mechanical tasks


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


• Versatile skill set with strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship


• Experience working with campervans, motorhomes, or VW conversions is preferred


• Reliable, hardworking, and capable of interpreting technical instructions accurately
