Job summary

City West Country Ltd in Taunton is seeking skilled Van Technicians to join our Aftersales team. You’ll perform high-quality servicing and repair work across a range of vans, ensuring tasks are completed safely and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the motor industry, preferably vans
• Certified technician qualifications (Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance)
• Strong team player with great attention to detail
• Openness to learning and developing within the service industry

Responsibilities

• Performs all maintenance services in line with the company and Mercedes-Benz standards and processes
• Completes a comprehensive diagnosis and repair job sheet
• Carries out all repair work using workshop information systems to store vehicle system functions
• Advises Service Team Manager of any additional work required
• Carries out a final inspection and function tests on all complex repair work
• Completes final documentation for invoicing

Van Technician - Taunton

Location: Taunton

Salary: Highly competitive pay - Top performers earn over £50,000.00 per annum!

Hours: Alternating shift pattern Monday to Friday 07.30 - 16.00 and 09.30 - 18.00 with 30 minutes for lunch. Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08.00 - 13.00 paid at time and a half to increase your earnings!

About the Role

As a Van Technician, you'll carry out high-quality servicing and repair work across a range of vehicles. You'll work alongside a supportive team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with Mercedes-Benz, Maxus and City West Country standards.

Van Technician responsibilities:

• Performs all maintenance services in line with the company and Mercedes-Benz standards and processes

• Carries out all repair work using all available workshop information systems necessary to store vehicle system functions

What's required from you?

• Previous experience within the Motor industry, preferably experience with Vans


• Certified technician qualifications (Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance)
