Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Van Technician to join a well-established fleet maintenance company in Hyde. The role covers service, maintenance, diagnostics, and pre-MOT checks on a modern fleet of vans and cars in a new state-of-the-art workshop.

Salary £47,000 - £50,000 per year, Monday to Friday days, with overtime paid at 1.5x. Benefits include discretionary semi-annual and annual bonuses (OTE £600 each period), PPE and equipment, a company pension, and Simplyhealth

Qualifications

• Experience as a Van or HGV Mechanic preferred.
• Familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
• MOT testing experience (Class 4-7) would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of vehicles.
• Repair defects and perform full vehicle overhauls.
• Conduct pre-MOT checks and carry out repairs as needed.
• Work on a modern fleet of vans and cars in a state-of-the-art workshop.

Van Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity

My client, a well-established fleet maintenance company with several depots across the North West is actively seeking to employ an additional experienced and qualified Van Technician to be based in their new state of the art workshop in Hyde. The role is available due to company growth / increased business demands.

Van Technician / Mechanic / Fitter duties

• The successful Van Technician / Mechanic /Fitter will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance
• Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between.
• You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.
• You will be working on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include vans and cars

Van Technician / Mechanic / Fitter qualifications required

• You must have detailed experience as a Van or HGV Mechanic and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
• Any MOT testing experience Classes 4-7 would be highly beneficial
