Job summary

Lanes Group is hiring a Van Pack Drainage Engineer for our Thames Water contract, based at Beddington Lane Sewage Treatment Works, South London. This permanent, full-time role operates on a 4-on, 4-off cycle (about 40.25 hours) with an OTE of £37,000 per year, plus overtime, on-call allowance and bonuses.

You will travel to residential sites in a van, power high-pressure jetting, clean and repair drainage, record job reports, run diagnostics with CCTV, rodding blockages and deliver excellent

Qualifications

• Must work safely and to health and safety standards.
• Experience with High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential.
• Full UK driver's licence is required.
• NRSWA and Confined Spaces qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in a van within the Thames Valley area and operate high pressure water jetting.
• Clean, clear, repair and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report on specialist equipment.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains using CCTV survey equipment.
• Rodding blockages and delivering good customer service.
• Maintain strong health and safety practices during works.

About the Role:

Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.

• Travelling to residential sites in a van, around the Thames Valley area powering a high pressure water jet for restoration.
• Clean / clear / repair and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains using electro mechanical and specialist CCTV survey equipment.
• Rodding blockages.
• Delivering good customer service.
• Maintaining good H&S practise while carrying out works.
