Job summary

HP4 RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client’s team in Croydon. The role focuses on servicing, maintenance and repair of light commercial vehicles and vans, ensuring fleet reliability for a wide customer base.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,760 basic (£44,760 OTE), Monday to Friday working with optional overtime, and clear career progression within a large national business. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred.
Proven experience as Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehicles.
Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
Complete MOT preparation and general inspections.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork.
Work efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targets.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
