Job summary

GSF Car Parts is looking for a Van Controller to lead the driver team and coordinate delivery runs across UK branches. The role focuses on cost-effective routing, on-time van deliveries and strong customer service standards within a busy retail distribution network.

You will foster team development, monitor performance and work closely with branch operations to maintain service levels. A valid driving licence and knowledge of local geography are required.

Qualifications

• Experience of motivating a diverse team
• Customer focussed, driven to achieve and willing to go the extra mile
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to train and develop others
• Must have held a driving licence for a minimum of 3 years
• Geographical knowledge of area within a 40 mile radius

Responsibilities

• Managing the driver team
• Coordinate delivery runs and orders in the most cost effective way
• Ensure vans deliver on time
• Control and coordinate branch fleet maintenance and servicing
• Ensure the delivery team can deliver the branches customer service standards
