Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Van Controller to coordinate delivery runs, manage the driver team and ensure on-time service across branches. You will drive efficiency, maintain high customer service standards, and oversee fleet maintenance.

In this role you will train and develop staff, leverage your knowledge of local geography within a 40 mile radius, and help optimise routes for cost effectiveness while supporting branch operations.

Qualifications

• Experience of motivating a diverse team.
• Customer focussed, driven to achieve and willing to go the extra mile.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to train and develop others.
• Must have held a driving licence for a minimum of 3 years.
• Geographical knowledge of area within a 40 mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Managing the driver team
• Co-ordinate delivery runs and orders in the most cost effective way
• Ensure vans deliver on time
• Control and Coordinate branch fleet maintenance and servicing
• Ensure the delivery team can deliver the branches customer service standards
