Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Van Controller to lead the driver team and coordinate delivery runs, ensuring timely and reliable service for customers. You will drive efficient routing and fleet coordination while maintaining high standards of customer care across branches.

The role requires proven people management skills, strong communication, and a focus on delivery accuracy. A full driving licence and local area knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of motivating a diverse team.
• Customer focussed, driven to achieve and willing to go the extra mile.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to train and develop others.
• Must have held a driving licence for a minimum of 3 years.
• Geographical knowledge of area within a 40 mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Manage the driver team.
• Coordinate delivery runs and orders in the most cost effective way.
• Ensure vans deliver on time.
• Control and coordinate branch fleet maintenance and servicing.
• Ensure the delivery team can deliver the branch's customer service standards.
