Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a collection driver in Colwick, Nottingham for a temp-to-perm role. You will collect from customers, load/unload vehicles, and ensure first-class customer service while following Health and Safety procedures. The role runs Monday to Friday, 12:00-18:00, at £12.90 per hour with 28 days holiday pro rata.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Ideal candidates have a valid UK driving licence, at least 3 months of relevant experience, and no more than 6 points

• 3 months of relevant experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DR / DD offences on licence.
• Compliance with MICOP regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide collections from customers in the East Midlands area.
• Loading / Unloading of vehicles.
• Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed.
• Carry out collections within the agreed time window.
• Highlight late collections and inform Operations Team.
• Assist with offloading and scanning parcels before despatch.
• Segregate parcels to correct carrier/service.
• Perform daily vehicle checks.

Job Description

Temp to perm for collection drivers required on an ongoing contract in Colwick, Nottingham!

Duties:

• Provide Collections from our customers in the East Midlands Area
• Loading / Unloading of vehicles
• Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are followed and proactively embrace
• Carry out collections within the agreed time window
• Highlight any Collections that are going to be late and the reason for the delay to the Operations Team
• Assistance with offloading collection vans and scanning parcels before despatch
• Accurately segregate parcels to correct carrier/service
• Perform daily vehicle checks to keep the vehicle clean and presentable
• Always provide all customers with first-class customer service
• Any queries or information gained from the customer at the point of the collection to be reported during debrief
• Compliance with MICOP regulation to maintain security of postal mail collected

Hourly Rate: £12.90 per hour with 28 days of holiday pro rata.Please note we are unable to offer visa sponsorships for this position
