Job description

Van Drivers Required

We are currently recruiting for van drivers to help support our clients in the Plymouth area.

Due to new client contracts, we have opportunities for ad hoc and part-time drivers, with the potential for full-time roles developing over the summer season.

To be considered for these positions you will need:

1. A valid UK driver’s license
2. Relevant experience in van driving
3. A good understanding of safety regulations and procedures

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver goods to multiple locations efficiently and safely
2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle
3. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
4. Communicate effectively with customers and the dispatcher
5. Handle goods carefully and ensure they are secured properly

Requirements:

1. For insurance purposes, you will need to be at least 21 years of age
2. Maximum 6 points, no DD or DR
3. Ability to read and follow GPS and other navigational systems
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
5. Flexibility to work weekends and nights if required
6. Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads
