Position: Van Delivery Driver (CAT B)

Location: Redruth & surrounding areas

Are you a van delivery driver looking for extra work or hours? We are seeking multiple staff members in the south-Cornwall area who are hardworking, resilient, and capable of working under pressure to fulfill various contracts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diverse work, different types of driving, and varied clients each week, while also offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle. Areas of work we cover:

• Parcels
• Refrigerated goods
• Highways / tanker work
• Glass & glazing products
• Plant machinery & welfare units
• Building supplies
• Office stationary
• Insulation products
• Ambient & chilled goods
• Agricultural supplies

Additional information:

• Hours vary depending on the client, typically starting between 05:30 and 08:00, with shifts lasting until finished.
• Minimum pay of 8 hours per shift, with overtime paid after 8 hours.
• Pay ranges from £13 to £16.81 (inclusive of holiday pay via advanced payroll).
• Ad-hoc shifts with flexible scheduling.
• PAYE internal payroll, no umbrella firms involved.
• Weekly pay.
• Potential for full-time ongoing contracts or temp-to-perm positions for suitable candidates.

Job requirements:

• Full and valid UK Category B Licence with no more than 6 points and no DR, DD, or IN convictions for insurance reasons.
• Previous van driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items throughout the day, in addition to driving, due to the physical nature of some tasks.
