Job description

Our client, a well-known national parcel distribution business, is offering a great opportunity for Van Drivers in Plymouth (PL6).

The Role

Successful candidates will deliver 50-100 parcels per day in a long-wheel-base 3.5t vehicle to domestic and commercial addresses. Loads will be prepared for you, and you will be required to organize your own load according to the delivery plan.

This is a customer-facing role, and politeness and courtesy must be demonstrated at all times.

The role is from Monday to Friday, with start times varying from 0600 to 0800. Shifts generally last 8-10 hours, depending on volumes.

Pay is on a weekly basis.

Requirements for the Role

• Right to Work in the UK
• Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points, and no DR, DD, CD, TT endorsements
• Must have held a UK driving license for at least 1 year
• Minimum of 6 months experience driving a LWB vehicle
• Willing to undertake a DBS/CRC check
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
