Job summary

Solvit Recruitment is seeking 3 Van Driver/Waste Operator for a Coventry-based project with the local authority. You will drive to destinations, photograph fly tipping, record daily data, and load waste with a assisting teammate. Role is outdoor, physical, and weather-exposed.

Working Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:30, 37 hours per week. A clean driving licence is essential, and a minimum 1 year van driving experience is required. PPE provided and weekly pay offered.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence with over 1 year van driving experience.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of duties.
• 1 year commercial van driving experience.
• Clean driving licence; no bans in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive to destinations in the Coventry area.

Job description

Solvit Recruitment are looking for 3 Van Driver/Waste Operator.

The role is to work with the local authority, new project where you will be collecting bulky waste from the road (Fly Tipping).

This is an interesting role just not driving, reliability, punctual and committed to providing excellent service.

You will be working outdoors in all weathers.

What will you be doing; you will be driving to destinations in the Coventry areas, taking picture of fly tipping, making manual records and loading the waste, you will be with working with a team member who will be assisting you in the daily duties.

Please note this role will be physical and involve manual handling.

This is a Monday to Friday role 07:00 - 15:30.

£13.92 per hour.

37 hours per week. applications for this role will involve full registration, Interview and a latest work reference.

We will need a CV with the last 5 years work history.

Please note if you have been banned from driving in the last 5 years you will not be considered, we need a clean driving licence for this role.

Requirements

• UK Driving Licence with over 1 years Van driving.
