The Best Connection Group is seeking an experienced Van Driver to work at the DHL International site in Southampton for the busy seasonal period from November through to Christmas. You will be responsible for delivering parcels safely and efficiently across Southampton and the surrounding areas, handling 65–100 deliveries per day.

This full-time role offers a PAYE rate of £14.73 per hour, Monday–Friday day shifts from 08:30 to 18:00, with occasional Saturday work and immediate start.

The Best Connection are seeking an experienced Van Driver to join our well-established client, DHL International, at their Southampton site for the busy seasonal period from November through to Christmas.

The Role

As a Van Driver - Southampton, you will be responsible for delivering parcels safely and efficiently across Southampton and the surrounding areas.

Your duties will include:

• Completing approximately 65-100 deliveries per day
• Delivering parcels to residential and business customers
• Loading and unloading your vehicle
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Following designated delivery routes and schedules
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Providing professional and courteous customer service
• Managing a busy delivery schedule independently
• Following all company, health and safety procedures

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carrying out daily delivery and collection routes efficiently and safely.
• Ensuring all parcels and consignments are handled with care and delivered on time.
• Completing routine vehicle inspections and promptly reporting any defects or maintenance issues.
• Obtaining and recording accurate proof of delivery and collection.
• Representing DHL professionally when dealing with customers and clients.
• Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and in good working condition.
• Managing workloads effectively to meet daily delivery and collection targets.
