Job summary

The Best Connection Group in Manchester is seeking a professional Van Driver / Administrator. The role combines van driving, administration, and customer service, with responsibilities including collecting documents and obtaining signatures, plus accurate record keeping.

You will represent the company with professionalism and handle multi-tasking across operations. Starting times can be as early as 2:00am, with a minimum 35 hours per week, weekly pay, and a temp-to-perm opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must be over 30 years old for insurance purposes.
• Full UK Category B Driving Licence.
• van driving experience preferred and admin/SOP skills.
• Strong IT, reading and writing abilities, and good communication.
• Professional, well-presented, with flexible start times up to 2:00am.

Responsibilities

• Drive an LWB van to customer locations and complete deliveries.
• Collect and deliver documents, obtain signatures, and complete paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service face-to-face and over the phone.
• Carry out administrative duties including data entry and record keeping.
• Support warehouse activities and assist with general duties as needed.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Minimum 35 hours per week
• Early morning starts required
• Start times can be as early as 2:00am - 3:00am
• Flexibility required to meet operational requirements

The Role

As a Van Driver / Administrator, your duties will include:

• Driving a Long Wheel Base (LWB) Van to customer locations
• Collecting and delivering important documents
• Obtaining customer signatures and completing paperwork accurately
• Acting as a professional representative of the business
• Providing excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the telephone
• Answering and making customer calls
• Completing administrative duties including data entry, record keeping, and document processing
• Reading and checking documentation for accuracy
• Completing multi-drop routes as required
• Assisting with warehouse duties when necessary
• Manual handling of products weighing up to 20kg
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and attention to detail

Essential Requirements

• Must be over 30 years old for insurance purposes
• Full UK Category B Driving Licence
• Previous van driving experience preferred
