Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced van delivery driver for Leicester and the wider Leicestershire area. You will complete multi-drop deliveries of food and drink wholesale products to schools, care homes, and restaurants, with early morning shifts and steady work.

Applicants must have a full UK licence, be physically fit for manual handling, and have a clean driving history (no more than 6 points, no DD/DR/TT).

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Van driving experience with references is preferred.
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DD, DR or TT convictions.

Van Delivery Driver
Location: Leicester, Leicestershire
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Shifts: Early morning starts

The Role:

Are you an experienced van driver looking for steady delivery driving work across Leicester and the wider Leicestershire area? We have an excellent opportunity to join our busy transport team. You will be delivering food and drink wholesale products to essential local customers, including schools, care homes, and restaurants.

Your Responsibilities:

• Complete multi-drop van deliveries safely and on time.
• Assist with loading and unloading the van by hand (candidates must be physically fit for manual handling).
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Deliver top-tier customer service with a professional attitude and excellent timekeeping.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This driving role pays £13.30 per hour. Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata for PAYE.

Working Hours: Shifts are available Monday to Friday from 05:00, with occasional Saturday work, usually around 1 in every 3, when required. You can expect to work approximately 40 hours per week.
