Job summary

Greencore Group is recruiting a delivery driver at Warrington distribution depot. You’ll start at 4am, handle 20–30 drops per day and work five days a week, including Saturdays, with a rolling rest day and no Sunday work. On-the-job training is provided and you’ll be paired with another driver at start.

You’ll earn £13.60 per hour, with an extra £1.15 for hours between 10pm and 6am. Overtime after 42 hours is paid at time and a quarter.

• Full UK driving license held for at least six months with a maximum of 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh stock daily to customers; part of a nationwide team delivering approx. 3.5 million deliveries per year.
• Work five days per week, including Saturdays; no Sunday work; on-the-job training provided; paired with another driver to start.

ShiftTimes: 4am Start Time

Pay Rate:£13.60 Per hour (+ £1.15 for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Saturday with a rolling rest day

Workload: On average between 20-30 drops per day

Overtime:Overtime Premium are payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter

All routes are planned in between 8 to 12 hours long.

Warrington:

A distribution depot serving convenience retailers and forecourts in the region. The depot operates a fleet of 48 vehicles on 53 routes.

What you'll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed.You would be expected to work five days per week,which would include mandatorySaturdays. With this shift pattern there will be no Sunday work and working day off as well on rotation.On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with.
