Job summary

Russell Taylor CDI are recruiting a Van Driver for a role based in Darwen. You will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across the North West, ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time, and providing excellent customer service.

Daily duties include vehicle checks, loading/unloading, paperwork, and maintaining a professional, friendly approach with customers. The role suits someone physically fit, with a good road network knowledge and an independent work style.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) required.
• Previous multi-drop van driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of the North West road network.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and collections across the North West.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks before each shift.
• Load and unload vehicle safely.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Keep vehicle clean, tidy and roadworthy.

The Role

As a Van Driver, you'll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across the North West, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.

• Completing multi-drop deliveries and collections
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks before each shift
• Loading and unloading your vehicle safely
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and roadworthy
• Following all health & safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
• Previous multi-drop van driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of the North West road network
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Physically fit and happy with manual handling duties
