Job summary

Greencore Food 2 Go in Sittingbourne is seeking van drivers to deliver food-to-go products to retail outlets and convenience stores. You will join a team and represent Greencore Food 2 Go and our agency with a professional and reliable service.

Shifts start at 04:00, 8 hours per day, Monday to Saturday with a midweek rest day. Weekly pay is every Friday, with overtime available and the potential for temp-to-perm after 16 weeks.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• No more than 3 penalty points.
• Reliable and flexible attitude to work.
• Ability to start early mornings and work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food-to-go products to retail outlets, convenience stores and petrol stations.
• Represent Greencore Food 2 Go and the agency with a professional, reliable service.
• Maintain safety and compliance on all deliveries.
• Follow routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.

We are currently recruiting Van Drivers on behalf of Greencore Food 2 Go in Sittingbourne.

Pay Rates

• £13.10 per hour Monday to Saturday
• £14.25 per hour between 04:00am and 06:00am
• £16.38 per hour overtime after 42 hours worked

Working Hours

• Start time: 04:00am
• Approximate finish: 12:00pm (depending on traffic and route completion)
• 8-hour shifts
• Monday to Saturday working pattern
• Midweek rest day available
• Saturday availability is required

The Role

As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering food-to-go products to retail outlets, convenience stores, and petrol stations. You will represent both Greencore and our agency, providing a professional and reliable service to customers.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• No more than 3 penalty points
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Own transport or access to public transport to reach site for the 04:00am start
• Ability to commit to early morning starts and Saturday working
