Job summary

Redstone Recruitment (UK) Ltd is seeking a driver to deliver items across London to active sites. You will assist with loading and unloading the van at the warehouse and ensure the correct materials are signed for on site.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break; occasional out-of-hours and weekend work may be required. You must be 21+, hold a clean driving licence and have London driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of London driving experience.
• Clean driving licence.
• Physically strong and hardworking.
• Good at working as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading of plant/materials in the yard and in the van.
• On site, ensure the correct materials are taken from the van and signed for by site personnel.
• Assist with loading and unloading the van at the warehouse as required.
• Deliver items across London to active sites while maintaining safety and professionalism.
• Occasionally work out of hours and weekends as needed.
• Be respectful and presentable when meeting site clients and suppliers.
• Report any issues during working hours to the yard supervisor.

Job description

JOB ROLE/DUTIES:

You will be predominantly delivering items across London to active sites. You will be expected to assist with loading and un-loading the van at the warehouse.

• Loading/unloading of plant/materials in the yard.
• Once the vehicle arrives on site, it is the driver s responsibility to ensure the correct materials are taken from the van and signed for.
• From time to time, you may be asked to work out of hours and weekends.
• Must be respectful and presentable when meeting site clients/suppliers.
• Report any issues that arise during the working hours to the yard supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum age of 21
• Minimum 1 Years London Driving Experience
• Clean Driving Licence
• Physically strong and Hard-working
• Good at working as a team member

WORKING HOURS:

• Monday-Friday - 7:30am-4:30pm (8 Hour Day, 40 Hour Week)
• 1 hour break for lunch
