Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking a professional Van Driver for a temporary role at our Leicester depot. You will complete up to 12 collections per day from new and existing customers, with an 11am start and a typical 40-hour week. There may be occasional loading/unloading tasks on return to the yard.

The position runs initially for 4 weeks, with a strong chance of extension for the right candidate. Applicants must be over 26, hold a full UK driving licence and have at least 12 months van driving

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held.
• At least 12 months of commercial van driving experience.
• Age 26 or older due to insurance.
• Clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Make up to 12 collections per day from new and existing customers.
• 11am start, finish around 8pm, usually 40 hours per week.
• Assist with loading and unloading when back at the yard.
• Temporary contract with potential extension for the right candidate.

Are you an experienced Van driver looking for work with an immediate start?
We have a temporsry opportunity for at least 4 weeks supporting our client who are a National collections company.
With an 11am start, you will leave the Leicester Depot to complete up to 12 collections per day from new and existing customers. When you arrive back in the yard, there may be an element of supporting with any loading and unloading.
We are looking for a professional, polite and team driven individual. Due to insurance, you must be over the age of 26.

Duration: Immediate start on this temporary driving role. Whilst this is initially for a 4 week period, there is every chance that could be extended and lead to ongoing work for the right candidate.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £12.76 per hour.Holiday pay is accrued.We do not offer Visa Sponsorships.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday work from 11am finishing around 8pm. You will usually work 40 hours per week.
