Job summary

Pertemps Banbury is seeking an experienced Van Driver (3.5t) for a temporary assignment in Brackley, starting soon and running through to 23 December 2026. You will mainly work Monday to Friday with 6:00am starts across four to five shifts per week, at £14.50 per hour.

The role involves multi-drop deliveries across the Home Counties, southern England and Greater London, with manual loading/unloading and warehouse support such as picking and packing.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of multi-delivery experience.
• Confident driving in Inner London.
• Strong knowledge of the UK road network including Greater London and the south.
• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 points (minor offences only).
• Excellent English and communication skills.
• Physically fit for manual handling.
• Provide excellent customer service and safe driving.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries across the Home Counties, South of England and Greater London.
• Manual loading and unloading on every run.
• Represent the client with professional customer service.
• Maintain high safety standards on every delivery.
• Assist in warehouse tasks such as picking and packing when required.

Working predominantly Monday to Friday with 6:00am starts across four to five shifts weekly, the role pays £14.50 hourly. Duties include multi-drop deliveries throughout the Home Counties, southern England and Greater London, requiring sound knowledge of UK routes, notably inner London. Manual loading and unloading form part of each run, alongside warehouse support such as picking and packing. The successful candidate represents the client professionally, maintaining excellent customer service plus high safety standards. Full-time contract. Reliability, navigational confidence and a professional manner are essential.

The Role

Requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Have at least 2 years’ proven multi-delivery experience
• Be confident and experienced driving in Inner London
• Possess strong geographical knowledge of the UK road network, including Greater London and the south
• Hold a full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points for minor offences only

• Demonstrate excellent English and communication skills
• Be physically fit due to manual handling
• Provide excellent customer service and show safe, compliant driving abilities
