People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Yate, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, consistent full-time work, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or 3.5 Tonne Driver.

• Carrying out up to 20 store deliveries per shift.

• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Carrying out vehicle checks in line with company procedures.
• Following all transport and health and safety regulations.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Yate, Bristol.

Rates of Pay:

• £27,851 per annum

Shift Pattern:

• Working 5 days out of 7
• 06:00 start time

Your duties as a Van Driver are:

• Carrying out up to 20 store deliveries per shift
• Delivering food and kitchen products safely and efficiently
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery location
• Communicating effectively with customers and the transport office
• Ensuring all goods are handled safely and correctly throughout the shift
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Carrying out vehicle checks in line with company procedures
• Following all transport and health and safety regulations

To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:

• A full UK Category B (Car/Van) Driving Licence
• A minimum of six months' van delivery experience
• No more than three penalty points for minor offences
• A reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Good geographical knowledge and route-planning skills
• The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

Training:

• Driver assessment, including theory and on-road evaluation
• Two-day paid induction following a successful assessment
• Two weeks of on-the-job training alongside an experienced driver
