Smart Solutions are seeking a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in Worthing.

The role involves delivering wheeled bins and waste containers to customers across the region, with daytime hours from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Pay is £13.50 per hour, paid for 10 hours per day, and there is weekly pay with potential for long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous van driving experience preferred.
• Physically fit with ability to lift and walk throughout the day.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company van to transport wheeled bins and waste containers.
• Deliver bins to residential and commercial locations across the region.
• Load and unload bins safely, ensuring they are handled correctly and secured during transport.
• Carry out manual handling duties, including regular lifting and walking throughout the day.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
• Represent the company in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
