Job summary

A reliable Driver Mate / Loader is sought for a recycling and environmental services operation in Worthing. You will work with the Van Driver on daily routes to deliver and collect council-issued recycling bins, boxes, caddies, and sacks across local areas.

The role is physically active, requiring regular lifting and outdoor work. You will assist with loading/unloading and ensuring safe delivery to residential and commercial properties, following health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Van Driver on daily delivery and collection routes.

Drivers Mate / Loader – Recycling Bin Delivery

Location: Worthing, BN14

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00

Saturday Rate: Paid at 1.25x standard hourly rate

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a reliable Drivers Mate / Loader to support a recycling and environmental services operation based in Worthing.

The role involves working alongside a Van Driver on daily routes to deliver and collect council-issued recycling bins, boxes, caddies, and sacks across local areas. You will assist with loading, unloading, and safely delivering recycling containers to residential and commercial properties.

This is a physically active role requiring regular walking, lifting, and manual handling. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors and carrying out hands‑on duties throughout the day.
