Job summary

The Best Connection in Melksham is seeking reliable van drivers for ad-hoc shifts from Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with immediate starts. You will deliver to customers nationwide and be the face of the company during deliveries.

Applicants must hold a valid Van (Cat B) licence, have at least 6 months of commercial driving experience, and be able to lift heavy items. A smartphone is required for online registration.

Qualifications

• A valid van (Cat B) licence is required.

• A good level of fitness due to heavy lifting.
• Proficient with PDAs and Sat-Nav devices.
• Experience delivering on time is essential.

The Best Connection Melksham are looking for reliable VAN DRIVERS to join our client's Melksham, Wiltshire based driving team on an ad-hoc basis. The role can be any days between Monday and Friday with no weekends!

Pay rate:

• £13.25 ph PAYE

Shifts:

• Monday - Friday
• 08:00 to 17:00
• Immediate starts

Duties:

• Delivering to different customers Nationwide
• Be the face of the company during deliveries
• Loading and unloading the vehicle

Requirements:

• A valid Van (Cat B) licence
• 6 months Commercial driving experience
• A good level of fitness (as some heavy lifting)
• Proficient in using technical aids such as PDA's and Sat-Navs
• Experience in making timed deliveries essential
• A right to work in the UK
• Access to a smartphone or device to complete our online registration process.
