Job summary

First Fence Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a reliable driver to join our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the timely collection and delivery of products across the UK, maintaining vehicles, and ensuring accurate paperwork.

You will work independently with initiative and as part of a friendly team, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines and quality standards to ensure customers receive five-star service on every delivery.

Job description

Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor

Our drivers are the face of First Fence, you are the final link in the customer

journey and key to ensuring that our customers receive a 5 star service each

and every time.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate collection/delivery of products throughout the UK.
• Responsible and accountable for daily vehicle checks.
• Responsible for basic maintenance of equipment to ensure roadworthy at all times (bulbs, oil top up etc, all parts are provided)
• Report any defects on any equipment that you are using to your line Manager.
• Goods and materials loaded by you/for you are checked for accuracy and quality.
• Goods and materials loaded by you/for you are loaded safely and securely.
• Follow and comply with all Health and Safety practices, policies, procedures and relevant Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Correct paperwork to be completed accurately and handed to office as soon as possible.
• All errors relating to quality and quantity are to be raised immediately to your line Manager.
• Undertake any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time.
