Job summary

First Fence Limited is seeking a professional driver to join our delivery team in the UK, with responsibility for timely collection and delivery of products across the UK, and for daily vehicle checks. You will load and secure goods, maintain quality, follow RAMS, and report defects to your line Manager.

You’ll work independently and as part of a team, with flexible start times to meet business needs, while delivering five-star service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate collection/delivery of products throughout the UK.
• Responsible and accountable for daily vehicle checks.
• Basic maintenance of equipment to ensure roadworthiness (bulbs, oil top-up etc).
• Report defects on any equipment to line Manager.
• Goods and materials loaded by you/for you are checked for accuracy and quality.
• Goods and materials loaded by you/for you are loaded safely and securely.
• Follow and comply with all Health and Safety practices, RAMS.
• Complete correct paperwork and hand to office as soon as possible.
• Raise all errors relating to quality and quantity to line Manager.
• Undertake any additional tasks as reasonably required.

Our drivers are the face of First Fence, you are the final link in the customer

journey and key to ensuring that our customers receive a 5 star service each

and every time.

Operational Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate collection/delivery of products throughout the UK.
• Responsible and accountable for daily vehicle checks.
• Responsible for basic maintenance of equipment to ensure roadworthy at all times (bulbs, oil top up etc, all parts are provided)
• Report any defects on any equipment that you are using to your line Manager.
• Goods and materials loaded by you/for you are checked for accuracy and quality.
• Goods and materials loaded by you/for you are loaded safely and securely.
• Follow and comply with all Health and Safety practices, policies, procedures
• and relevant Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Correct paperwork to be completed accurately and handed to office as soon as possible.
• All errors relating to quality and quantity are to be raised immediately to your line Manager.
• Undertake any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time.
